The Department for Education are introducing two new statutory subjects which will be implemented from September 2021, (implementation was intended to be in September 2020 but has been delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic). The subjects are Relationships Education and Physical Health and Mental Wellbeing and the DfE guidelines and curriculum content can be found here: https://www.hollinsgrundy.com/our-school/curriculum/relationships-education-and-rse-consultation/.

Schools have been asked to consult with their parents about the implementation of the new subjects and we will be holding meetings to do this later this month:

Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 – Thursday 20th May at 9.00

Year 3 & Year 4                     – Friday 21st May at 9.00

Year 5 & Year 6                     – Friday 28th May at 9.00

The meetings will be held in the school hall and we will have to limit numbers to to ensure social distancing. There will be a maximum of 16 places at each meeting with only one adult per child please.
