We have a vacancy for a parent governor and would welcome expressions of interest in the role from parents of children attending the school.

The governors of the school are responsible for the strategic leadership of the school and meet regularly to support and challenge in order to get the best education for all children. The role can be interesting and rewarding but also requires a commitment to attend meetings and (when Covid regulations allow) to visit school to meet with children and teachers.

If you think that this is something that you would be interested in and you have skills that could benefit children attending the school please contact Mr Waddington at s.waddington@bury.gov.uk to arrange an informal discussion. All expressions of interest in the role should be received by 12.00 noon on Friday 28th May.

Once expressions of interest have ben received we will arrange for an election to be held during the next half term.
