Welcome back everyone. I hope you all had a nice summer. It has been lovely to have the children back in school. They are already settling in well in their new classes and producing some fantastic work. It has also been lovely to welcome our new Reception children who have made a brilliant start to their time at Hollins Grundy.
We have two new members of staff who have joined our team. Ms Hamer will be working as a Teaching Assistant in Year 5 and 4. Also, Miss Battersby will be working as a Teaching Assistant in Reception.
School works best when parents and teachers work as a team and have consistent messages and expectations. To help with this we will be holding new class meetings on Wednesday 16th September. Each class will hold two meetings, one at 5.00pm-5.30pm and one at 5.30pm-6.00pm. Repeating meetings allows parents with more than one child in school to attend two meetings.
At the meetings, teachers will go through expectations, routines, the class curriculum etc so parents have an overview of how to support their children.
We really hope to see you at our class meetings.
