New national guidance as of yesterday afternoon is that schools will remain open unless specifically directed to close by Public Health England due to particular circumstances.

Additionally, anyone who is presenting with symptoms of:

• new continuous cough and/or
• high temperature

should stay at home for seven days. This includes children who present with these symptoms. Accordingly, please would parents inform school if their children develop these symptoms and keep them off school for seven days. If children develop or present with these symptoms in school we will call you and ask you to collect them as soon as possible.
