As I’m sure you are aware two of our classes have been isolating at home for the past week and will continue to work at home until Monday 5th October. Their teachers have been setting work and delivering lessons using Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams and I’m very impressed with the children’s engagement and enthusiasm when working at home. Some new class meetings have also been taking place using Teams and the parents I have spoken to have all said that they find this very useful.

Microsoft 365 allows teachers to monitor how well and how often children are getting on with their learning and to give feedback through chat or email. It’s really important that if children are isolating at home they check in regularly and engage with their lessons and with their teacher. If we haven’t heard from you for two days teachers will text or email as a reminder and after 3 days Mrs Richardson will ring from school to check that everyone is safe and well. Please let us know if you are having trouble accessing the online learning.
